FAMILIES OFTEN ASK

A few questions we are commonly asked.

We understand that arranging care can feel unfamiliar at first. These are some of the questions families most often ask when exploring support for a loved one.

In most cases, we can arrange an initial consultation within 24 hours and a first visit within 5 to 7 working days. For more urgent situations, we will always do our best to move more quickly. Every family’s circumstances are different, and we are happy to talk you through the timeline during a free, no-obligation call.

We offer companionship visits, visiting care, overnight care, live-in care, dementia support, respite care and travelling care. Whether your loved one needs an hour of company each week or full-time live-in support, we will help you find the right level of care. Full details are available on our Services page.

Yes. We work with carers who have specific experience supporting people living with dementia and other memory-related conditions. We take particular care with these matches, focusing on patience, consistency and a calm, familiar presence — the qualities that make the greatest difference day to day.

Finding the right person is the most important part of what we do, and we understand that occasionally a match may not feel quite right. If that happens within the first four weeks of a placement, we will arrange a replacement carer at no further charge. Your comfort and your loved one’s wellbeing always come first.

Every carer in our network holds an enhanced DBS check, verified references, and safeguarding training. Many also hold relevant practical qualifications such as Manual Handling and First Aid.

None at all. Our first conversation is always free, friendly and entirely without pressure. Many families come to us simply to understand their options, and we are happy to advise even if you decide care is not the right step at this time.
